Building off the lessons of providing legal support to UMass Amherst student encampment organizers, we are kicking off the series with a workshop on developing legal defense strategies for direct actions. Attorneys Rachel W., Elliot O. and Tyler I. will be facilitating the workshop, and will focus on the different approaches to legal support and why having a plan ahead of an action is crucial.
Food will be provided, so please RSVP below so we know how much to order!
Masks are required for this workshop when not actively eating or drinking.
The workshop will be held at UMass Amherst campus in Machmer building, room E-37. Please check our Instagram page for updates in case the location changes.
