Join us for our monthly courtwatch at Holyoke District Court, 8:30am-10:30am on Monday, March 24th!
Courtwatch involves attending district court as an observer. It helps us build our knowledge about how the legal system operates, and our comfort in legal environments so that we can be strong advocates and movement members. Courtwatch is also a way to visibly show up and support our loved ones and comrades who are being subjected to legal processes, and let them know they are not alone.
Please arrive at 8:30am at Old San Juan Bakery (408 High Street, 1 block from the court) for donuts and a short orientation before we head into court together.
Please wear a purple shirt or top to show that you are part of the courtwatch group. Also please keep in mind the rules for court, which prohibits wearing shorts, tube tops, hats, and flip flops.
