A free public viewing of the 2020 film Jacinta, a haunting documentary about intergenerational incarceration and trauma that traces the journey of a young woman struggling with addiction after her release from prison. Followed by a panel discussion and co-sponsored by the Recover Project, Opioid Task Force, Children’s Advocacy Center of Franklin County and North Quabbin, Salisin Project, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, UMass-Amherst Department of Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and the UMass Prison Education Initiative.
